Accounts payable supervisor/staff accountant (Tijuana)

The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with Mexican financial and tax regulations, supervising accounting staff, and supporting accurate and timely financial reporting. This role works closely with finance leadership, auditors, and other departments to maintain strong internal controls and efficient accounting processes. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily accounting activities, including: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with Mexican accounting standards, SAT requirements, and tax obligations. Coordinate tax filings, VAT (IVA), ISR, DIOT, and electronic accounting submissions. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes. Support internal and external audits. Supervise and train accounting staff. Transfer Price Qualifications~ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.~ CPA certification (Contador Público) preferred.~5+ years of accounting/Tax experience.~ Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.~ Strong knowledge of:~ Mexican tax laws~ SAT regulations
