Financial Reporting Junior Accountant (Tijuana)

General purpose of the position: This is an entry-level role designed for recent graduates or students in their final semester who want to start their career in accounting and financial reporting within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.You will support the Financial Reporting team in key processes such as month-end close, internal and consolidated reporting, and audit support, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to real business operations.Position tasks / Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of board reporting materials on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.Support the preparation of annual audited financial statements, including assisting with footnote disclosures and audit requests.Prepare supporting schedules that are needed for month-end close as well as quarterly internal audit support.Assist with annual audit support, including preparing and compiling schedules and documentation for sample selections.Assist in researching accounting guidance and preparing documentation for technical accounting topics as needed.Assist with budgeting and expense tracking processes, including gathering departmental inputs and performing basic analysis.Ad hoc projects and assignments as allocated by the Financial Reporting Manager.Participate in the implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives.Work Experience Requirements Team player with a proactive attitude Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred Ability to cross to U.S. strongly preferred Proficient in English – both written and spoken Basic knowledge of accounting principles Highly organized and detail oriented.Ability to be adaptable to a changing environment, acknowledging urgency when necessary Analytical mindset and strong attention to detail with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset Academic Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently in final semester) Skills Assessments Analytical mindset High attention to detailStrong willingness to learn Excellent interpersonal and communication skills What We Offer
