Finance The Senior Financial Analyst supports plant financial operations by ensuring accurate reporting, strong cost control, and insightful analysis to drive decision-making. This role partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance leadership to deliver high-quality financial results, cost transparency, and continuous improvement across the site. Your responsibilities
- Execute month-end and year-end close activities, including preparation and analysis of Factory P&L; (monthly and quarterly).
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and completeness of financial results, including proper accruals and journal entries.
- Prepare and post routine journal entries (accruals, passthroughs, fees, GR/IR, liabilities).
- Support annual standard cost updates, ensuring alignment of material, labor, and overhead rates.
- Perform monthly cost variance analysis, including root cause identification (material, labor, overhead, freight, pallet).
- Monitor and explain manufacturing variances and cost drivers, providing actionable insights.
- Support annual budget preparation and ongoing forecast activities.
- Maintain Actual vs. Budget tracking and provide variance commentary to leadership.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations in line with company policies.
- Maintain supporting schedules and documentation for audit readiness and internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with corporate financial and accounting standards.
- Participate in cycle count audits, investigate discrepancies, and support inventory accuracy.
- Review freight and carrier invoices, resolve billing discrepancies and identifying cost optimization opportunities.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support plant and finance leadership decisions. The experience we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, or plant finance
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) required.
- Strong Excel skills required, including Data analysis and large dataset management and financial modeling and variance analysis tools.
- Inventory and manufacturing operations.
