Position Summary The IT Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure to ensure stable, secure, and continuous business operations. This role provides technical support across virtualization platforms, network infrastructure, Windows environments, and basic SAP support, while ensuring high system availability and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities Infrastructure & Virtualization
Administer and maintain VMware and Nutanix infrastructure environments.
Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability of virtual and physical servers.
Manage backups, disaster recovery processes, and basic business continuity activities.
Perform system updates, patching, and preventive maintenance.
Coordinate with external vendors and service providers when required.
Network Administration
Administer Cisco switches and local network infrastructure.
Configure and support VLANs, ports, connectivity, and network troubleshooting.
Monitor network performance and communication systems availability.
Maintain updated network diagrams and IT asset inventory.
Windows Administration
Manage Windows servers and workstations.
Administer Active Directory, user accounts, permissions, and security policies.
Support printers, shared folders, antivirus solutions, and corporate IT policies.
Manage Windows updates and security compliance.
SAP Support
Provide basic operational and functional SAP support to end users.
Support incident tracking and initial troubleshooting for SAP-related issues.
Coordinate with SAP consultants or external support teams for issue escalation.
End User Support
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Track and follow up on support tickets and internal requests.
Train and assist users with standard IT tools and best practices.
Security & Compliance
Ensure compliance with IT security policies and standards.
Manage user access and permissions.
Participate in internal audits and IT control activities.
Support basic cybersecurity monitoring and vulnerability management.
Additional Preferred Responsibilities
Participate in IT infrastructure improvement projects.
Propose automation and optimization initiatives.
Maintain updated technical documentation.
Provide after-hours support for critical incidents when required.
Key Performance Indicators
Infrastructure and systems uptime.
Ticket response and resolution times.
Reduction of recurring incidents.
Compliance with IT security standards.
Qualifications Education
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or related field.
Experience
5-8 years of experience in IT infrastructure administration.
Hands‑on experience with VMware and/or Nutanix environments.
Experience managing Cisco switching infrastructure and enterprise networks.
Experience administering Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
Basic SAP ERP support experience is preferred.
