ERP Engineer (Torreón)

ERP Engineer At SUNSTRONG INTERNATIONAL MÉXICO, we are looking for an ERP Engineer with strong experience in ERP systems, factory networks, and manufacturing operations, focused on ensuring system efficiency, supporting users, and driving continuous improvement in our production environment. Responsibilities
- Be in charge of the ERP system and control all related processes, including installation, configuration, backup management, user training, and technical support.
- Coordinate ERP and MES system integration to support manufacturing operations and real-time production tracking.
- Provide technical support to end users and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Administer user profiles, roles, and permissions within ERP and related systems.
- Support MES online operation and participate in MES implementation and optimization projects.
- Manage factory network infrastructure and ensure stable communication between production equipment and systems.
- Develop KPI-based reports and data analysis tools to support business decision-making.
- Train employees on ERP systems, MES operation, and IT tools.
- Coordinate IT-related projects, system enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage databases (SQL or similar), ensuring data integrity, security, and availability. Requirements Education Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field. Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in ERP implementation, support, and management.
- At least 2 years of experience as a factory network engineer or in manufacturing IT infrastructure.
- Experience with MES online systems and MES implementation projects.
- Experience with databases (SQL or similar).
- Experience in IT projects, support methodologies, and cross-functional coordination.
- Familiarity with manufacturing production processes and factory operations. Knowledge & Skills
- Advanced computer and IT skills.
- Strong knowledge of ERP administration, troubleshooting, and user support.
- Knowledge of manufacturing systems integration and industrial network environments.
- Knowledge of support frameworks (ITIL preferred).
- Reporting and data analysis skills. Specific Criteria
- Experience with IMMEX operations (preferred).
- Knowledge of ITIL methodology.
- Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments. Languages
