Company Overview Our client is a two-sided outdoor hospitality business: A traveler marketplace for booking campgrounds and RV parks

A platform for park operators to manage reservations, payments, and operations

Our client brings modern software to a fragmented industry made up largely of independent businesses. The product is used daily in operationally complex environments where reliability and responsiveness matter—especially during peak travel seasons when customers move fast and deadlines are real. Your Role As a Business Developer , you'll own the full arc from pipeline to signed contract. That means sourcing and qualifying new opportunities, managing relationships with key stakeholders, and driving formal proposal and RFP submissions from intake through clean delivery. This is not a passive account management role—you'll actively hunt for new business, lead discovery conversations, coordinate cross-functional inputs, and craft compelling proposals that win. You'll partner closely with Sales, Operations, Product, and Leadership to position the solution accurately, respond to competitive evaluations, and build a repeatable engine for growing revenue. You’ll: Business Development & Pipeline Management Identify and qualify new business opportunities (outbound prospecting, inbound leads, RFP portals, and referral channels)

Lead discovery calls and stakeholder meetings to understand customer needs, timelines, and decision criteria

Own the pipeline from first contact to closed deal — managing follow-ups, next steps, and deal momentum

Represent the company in formal procurement processes, vendor evaluations, and competitive RFPs

RFP & Proposal Ownership Run end-to-end RFP / proposal submissions (intake → drafting → reviews → final delivery)

Draft compelling, accurate responses aligned to customer requirements and evaluation criteria

Coordinate cross-functional inputs from Sales, Product, and Operations to build complete, high-quality submissions

Own timelines, formats, and submission requirements so nothing slips

Content, Positioning & Process Build and maintain reusable proposal content (standard answers, case studies, product overviews, pricing templates)

Ensure consistency across messaging, product positioning, and brand voice

Capture learnings from wins and losses to sharpen future proposals and outreach

Research customer needs and competitive landscape to strengthen positioning

You Bring: Experience in business development, sales, or account management in a B2B environment

Hands-on experience with RFP responses, proposals, or formal procurement processes

Strong writing and editing skills — you can turn complex inputs into clear, persuasive answers

Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines simultaneously

Comfort leading conversations with operators, procurement teams, and decision-makers

Ability to work cross-functionally and drive follow-ups without creating bottlenecks

Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)

Bonus Points: Exposure to SaaS, operations software, or B2B marketplace environments

Familiarity with CRM, proposal management, or knowledge base tooling

Hospitality, travel, or outdoor industry context

Track record of building repeatable sales or proposal systems
